Institut des sciences de la mer de Rimouski

Affiliated with the Université du Québec à Rimouski (UQAR), ISMER brings together a community of experts in biology, chemistry, physics and geology who are interested in the functioning of marine ecosystems in relation to climate change, the impacts of human activity on ecosystems, the development of marine bioresources, marine geology and natural hazards. ISMER professors and students conduct research all over the world, from the Arctic to Africa and Argentina.
