Webinar 19 | The Pessamit Innu's memories and cultural connectivity to Nitassinan

Abstract : Based on the approach initiated in the context of my doctoral research, this presentation will focus on the preservation of the memory of places that have been impacted by hydroelectric development as a vector of cultural continuity for the Innu of Pessamit. We will see how this memory makes it possible to reconstitute cultural landscapes that have been radically altered or disappeared and what challenges this process poses.
