Urbanisation Culture Société Research Centre

The Urbanisation Culture Société Research Centre brings together 34 professors-researchers, who come from a dozen different social science disciplines. It is also a training centre for graduate students and postdoctoral researchers. The social relevance of research work is indeed one of the main drivers of the scientific activity of the Centre's researchers. They also emphasize that this research must be oriented towards the economic, social and cultural development of Quebec and ensure the transfer of knowledge in all sectors where INRS works. The Centre's multidisciplinary approach facilitates the analysis of the concrete and often complex problems that characterize the world in which we live.
