Intersectorial Flood Network of Quebec

RIISQ (Intersectorial Flood Network of Quebec) has as its mission to better protect Quebec’s population and infrastructure from the adverse effects of floods that are worsening as a result of climate change. It promotes links between civil society and universities through the combined actions of partners from the domains of research and practice that are involved in flood management, relying not only on existing knowledge but also on the new knowledge from science and technology, social sciences, and health. All of this with the ultimate aim of proposing and putting into practice concrete and sustainable solutions.
