This networking event unites researchers from INQ’s Montreal-Sherbrooke hub. These member institutions include:

Join a roundtable discussion with researchers from different backgrounds and complementary areas of expertise to fuel reflection and spur engagement around INQ’s Scientific Program. Its vision is to develop a sustainable North through innovation and knowledge creation, and by integrating science with local and traditional knowledge in northern and Arctic regions. Objective

Build a synergy between INQ affiliated researchers while initiating a broader conversation about the cross-cutting issues that will be included in a new version of the INQ Science Program. 

Agenda

  1. Reception of partcipants and refreshments  

  2. Land Acknowledgement 

  3. Welcome remarks by Jean-Éric Tremblay, Scientific Director, who will also present the INQ's mandate, science program and activities, including funding opportunities. 

  4. Roundtable Discussion - Brainstorm and identify up to 5 transversal issues linked to INQ’s five research axes. These intersecting issues must take into consideration the research needs and aspirations of northern communities. 

  5. Closing remarks by Faiz Ahmad Khan, INQ-McGill Northern Research Chair in Respiratory Health & Health Services.
